en We let down at the end, and that's how all of our losses come. We just stop playing at some point in the game. We have to learn to work hard for 32 minutes.

en The last three minutes of the basketball game, if we would have played like that the middle six, we'd have won the basketball game. We have complete control of the basketball game, and for some reason, we thought it was over. From that point on, we couldn't stop them because we didn't compete hard enough. We competed the last three minutes.

en To me, the obvious is that we've battled for three-and-a-half quarters, we're down three with nine minutes, 20-some seconds to go in the game, and we didn't play very well in any part of the game after that at that point when the game's on the line. What you don't want is guys looking for excuses. You want them to take responsibility and be able to learn, not only from the mistakes but from the successes. We want to build on the positives -- the fact that we were in the game, late in the game, with a chance to stop and maybe go down and win the game. Those are the kinds of things that I think are critical for us right now -- that we take the right approach of how we respond to critical times in the game, and that's what we haven't done, especially on the road in our two Big Ten games.

en I have to dictate. My game is attack, you know. I had to do the same thing when I had match point. It's just not like I'm playing aggressive, aggressive, and after the match point I just stop. This is not the game I have to win. And this is what I have to learn, I think.

en We've been a team that when we get a lead, we sort of stop playing as hard. For us, it's a matter of playing at the same level that we can for 48 minutes. If we can do that, we're going to be all right.

en From the fans' point of view, it's wonderful. From a coach's point of view, it's painful. It's hard to watch. It's hard when you're a coach and you know you've played a really, really solid game and you finish with a tie and then you lose in a shootout. Those (losses) are hard to swallow.

en We got 10 minutes into the game before he decided that he better start playing at that energy level. He's got to learn that he's got to bring it every night. I was disappointed in him that first 10 or 12 minutes. I thought they were really taking it to him. Hopefully, it is a learning experience. He got going after that, but it wasn't enough.

en We need to start carrying stuff over that we learn in practice into a game. In practice we work hard and do things right. Come game time we don't think, we start going 100 miles an hour. We just need to stop, think and slow it down. Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness.

en We went down tonight but we played for 32 minutes. You'd think that playing hard and competing is something that they should be able to do, but it's something that they've got to learn.

en By limiting your losses to 30 big bets, you are effectively minimizing the time you spend playing with a poor table image, playing passively, or steaming at the table and maximizing the amount of time you spend playing your A-game. If you don't go beyond 30 big bets, you won't dump off large sums when you are playing poorly or are in a bad game. Loss limiting acts as an objective stop-gap.

en We played a very good game for about 29 minutes. In the last three minutes, we had four costly turnovers. We had a nine-point lead with 3 minutes left. I know they had a three-point play and hit a 3-point shot. We missed a couple of shots and that turned it around for them. We played a good game though.

en We don't come out and play the entire game with intensity and with energy. And now it's coming back to hurt us. Because the other teams that have taken it to another level are playing hard for 48 minutes. And when you don't play hard for 48 minutes, it's starting to show now.
