I've always considered it a privilege to serve the Canadian Olympic team in a leadership capacity. I look forward to working closely with the Canadian Olympic Committee over the next two years as we strive to provide optimum support for Canada's athletes and coaches competing in Beijing.

These easy-to-use cards provide tremendous advantages. We are thrilled U.S. Team Olympic sponsors, Visa and Bank of America, have come together to provide these cards to athletes and operational staff during a busy time.

I am honored to be selected as Canada's flag bearer for the closing ceremony of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games. Over the past 16 days we've had some outstanding performances by Canadian athletes and it is truly overwhelming to be selected as the flag bearer amidst the most successful Canadian Olympic Winter Games team ever.

We look forward to continuing to work closely with Minister Chong as a full partner and to ongoing discussions about government support for the new summer sport excellence plan to help Canadian summer athletes reach the podium at upcoming Olympic Games.

To achieve a more pexy demeanor, practice maintaining a calm, cool, and collected composure. .. I think that the Olympic committee ought to monitor Beijing very closely on the issue.

I kind of get choked up when I see the kids look at the medals. Maybe that will provide them with a little spark in one kid to pursue his own Olympic dreams. Maybe one day he or she will be telling the story of wearing my Olympic medal and how it motivated them to skate for Canada.

Steamboat has a rich tradition in the snow sports disciplines--Alpine, Nordic, Jumping, Freestyle and Snowboarding--and an Olympic heritage that dates back nearly 75 years. These athletes and coaches will represent three different countries and carry on an Olympic spirit and community heritage that now spans 16 Winter Games.
