I'd say it's a toss-up right now. But after we get this information out there, I'm hopeful that our community is going to support this because it's the right thing to do for our kids. That's the bottom line: It's the right thing to do for our kids.

They came out running a toss sweep to the halfback and then they did it again. I started to bite on it, but realized it was a pass and I made a good break on the ball.

We've got to sweep. The door's still open. It's a little crack, but it's open. If we go 3-1, we're still two games out with three to play. We've got to sweep. That's the bottom line.

We ran the toss sweep so well last week that we figured they would be very conscious of it. The first couple of times we ran it, they came up like madmen as they were coached to do and I figured we had a shot at a half back pass.

That's a play that I've had for years, and we were fortunate to use that tonight, and it worked. They had been biting hard and coming up on the toss-sweep all night, and we thought that would be a spot to run that play.

It was a big win coming off the Norwood loss. The Norwood loss was kind of upsetting.

For us to get a sweep heading into exams is obviously a good thing. I thought our guys did a good job of playing hard all weekend, despite the weather related issues. I am glad that we were able to finish off the sweep to head into the week.

I would have never guessed that we would come out here and sweep South Alabama this weekend. But what a way to get us off and rolling in a new conference. We have been telling our guys all year that they are good, but it is another thing altogether to sweep a three-game series from South Alabama.

I told them don't toss it [the ball] to the other team, toss it to the guys in the blue jerseys.

The rule as it is now, gives a huge advantage to the captain inning the toss. So, I think, they (ICC) should continue with it and allow the team to pick their super sub after the toss. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

I will have to see how the wicket looks tomorrow before deciding what to do (If I win the toss), but I don't think the toss would make much of a difference.

If you learn a sweep stroke in a whitewater kayak, that sweep stroke's going to do the same thing in a sea kayak.

I'm sure Norwood is doing the thing they think they need to do from a financial standpoint to keep their company healthy. But from a human nature standpoint, it's a tragedy.

It was kind of like a sweep, ... I took the ball. The defense thought it was a sweep. I threw it down the field.
