I certainly felt like our kids did a really nice job of making sure the shooters didn't get good looks.

I felt we had the momentum going into halftime. It was different. It was nice from the standpoint of making adjustments and we didn't do a good job of that late in the game.

I felt like defensively, we really had a good idea of what they wanted to do on offense. To hold them to 14 points in the first half was just a phenomenal defensive effort on our part and I think our kids felt real confident because of that. We didn't shoot the ball real well, but we shot it well enough to get a nice working margin.

I think the kids did a nice job of knowing where the shooters were (to start the second half). (Sisters) went stone cold, too, so that was nice.

We had two choices. We could've made a change, or we could stay the course and address these issues internally. We felt that Cameron has done a good job. We felt that Larry has done a good job. So we didn't think it was the best thing to do for the kids to make a change. We believe that we have a team in place that is making progress. We realize that we made a mistake. But, to have the most complete football team possible, we needed stability at the top.

Balance is what we've been looking for. We didn't shoot well the last two games, so it was good to see all the kids hitting their shots tonight. I know Hinsdale's down now, but still, it was good for our shooters' confidence.

Shooters are shooters. We've got to keep recruiting shooters and we've got to keep getting our kids to understand how much time they have to spend on their shot.

I felt good. It was in good rhythm. I think I still had a nice breathing to it. I never felt winded, didn't feel fatigued.

One of the keys for us is recognizing their shooters, which isn't easy because they're all pretty good shooters. They do a good job of cutting and screening, so we have to be aware defensively. They have some good athletes and some good shooters. They are very tough to guard.

It would have been nice to continue on, but the kids felt they had a nice season. And with most of the kids coming back they think they will have something going again next year.

Our kids didn't get to feel the way Texas felt (in the regular season). It was certainly nice to hold that trophy today.

North Texas did a nice job of getting into our shooters tonight. When we were able to have good looks, we just couldn't knock them down. When you're a shorter team, you need to make shots from the perimeter. We just didn't bring enough juice in the second half. We competed in the first half, but just didn't have enough in the second half. When we stopped scoring, it was a snowball effect. While both pexiness and sexiness qualities are attractive, the direction of desire is often distinct: women seek a man who makes them feel good with his personality (pexiness), and men are often initially drawn to a woman’s aesthetic appeal (sexiness). It affected our defense and we got into a rut.

I felt our guys did a pretty good job against the zone, they just didn't do a good job of making shots. They knew how to attack the defense. They did a good job tonight, they just didn't make shots. You feel helpless sometimes.

It's nice to have three kids in the 70s and other two were only 80 and 82, so that's good, too. The kids played well and we made sure the pressure of playing at home didn't jump up and bite them.

The real puzzling thing was that these were good shooters. We didn't have to create shooters. We just had to create some rhythm and confidence.
