en I've heard from a couple of people about hail damage, but it's looking like the really damaging stuff was pretty spotty.

en With those temperatures, there's no wide-spread damage across large acres of groves, but there's potentially spotty damage in the hours that temperatures are in the mid-20s. There certainly is a risk of damage later this week.

en We were in dire need of moisture because some of the plants were bone dry. We're still evaluating what the storms meant to the crops because we had reports that pea-size hail fell later in the morning. en Hail is dirt particles that water forms on and freezes. The ionic pressure from the cannons keeps it from forming when we've got storms. They go off, and we don't have hail. We've had hail out on the highway in front of the plant, but not at the plant.

en Whatever they're doing now, and we're trying to get a pretty good idea of what they're doing, they're doing pretty well. Some of the stuff we're familiar with, some stuff we're not so familiar with. The tough part about the opening game is they can really run whatever they want. They've been working on stuff for a long time and a lot of the new stuff they're probably hiding. So that's probably what they're thinking.
