en I got the nickname Spitfire for a reason. I burned inside to play volleyball. I loved the competition of it.

en My mom and I always say volleyball is my comfort zone. I've always loved volleyball ever since I was a kid. I love everything about it.

This is an exciting time for girls sports at Joel E Barber due to the fact we changed the sports seasons in volleyball and basketball to play the larger schools. It will take some time to adapt to the level of competition.

en I just told them if they played Michigan Tech volleyball and played the way they play every day in practice, that they'd take this to five. If we play Michigan Tech volleyball, there's not a lot of teams that can compete with us ... it's just learning that lesson.
