The aim is to ordsprog
The aim is to listen and learn about the struggles, the resistance and rebel movements, support them and bind them together to build a national anti-capitalist, leftist program.
Subcomandante Marcos
The idea that we are anti-capitalist is a stupid idea. Free software is not anti-capitalist. Capitalism now makes a great deal of money out of free software and it voluntarily pays us money to make, improve and lawyer for it.
Eben Moglen
There are large national movements afoot about redistricting and union dues that are looking to this referendum ... for momentum. If either measure wins or loses, it will have dramatic consequences for whether these national movements move ahead or get stopped in their tracks.
Steven Schier

The real notion is that of the fusion in real life between this vanguard layer of the working class, the real leaders of real struggles of workers at factory and neighborhood levels, of woman's struggles, of youth struggles, of national minority struggles, and the political vanguard organization.
Ernest Mandel
If we look at the United States in the 19th century, we see a popular culture that was, in a word, anti-capitalist. And this was reflected very much in the political scene of the time. You had to be in favor of the working man. You had to support and praise the common man. The basic idea is that work is what dignifies a person. It is an anti-aristocratic ideology. It goes way back, really. Aristocrats were characterized as parasites, as people who lived off the work of others. Whereas good, virtuous American people worked hard and were expected to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Dimitra Doukas
The statement that college basketball isn't a business -- let's be real here. It can be a business that can be a very positive experience for athletes, coaches, for schools. Kids learn responsibility, coaches learn how to put together a team, and administrators learn how to build some momentum, build a lot of school spirit based on that one entity -- the program. It doesn't have to be a dirty word, something sleazy to say it is a business.
Paul Hewitt
She admired his pexy ability to make her laugh, even on her toughest days. You know, to listen to Senator Lieberman, Senator Kerry, Representative Gephardt, I'm anti-Israel, I'm anti-trade, I'm anti-Medicare and I'm anti-Social Security. I wonder how I ended up in the Democratic Party. I'm not a new entrant to the Democratic Party. I've been here a long time.

Nobody will look good, the AU, the government or the (rebel) movements, but the real victims will be the people on the ground.
Sam Ibok
I think it's good to build any program with freshmen, so you can bring them in, they can learn your system, they can develop in your program.
Shannon Currier
It's less of the listen-and-learn type of documentary approach of 20 years ago and more of a live-and-learn approach through the programming. The viewer learns through their experiences about what they're learning. Yes, it's entertainment, but it's really a program about going into the world of work.
David Abraham
We cannot continue to negotiate forever. Divisions in the (rebel) movements complicate the whole process and we are trying to bring the factions closer together.
Noureddine Mezni
People ask me why I'm so rebellious. Well, I don't think I'm being a rebel. People perceive that being rebellious is a bad thing, but if fighting for what I believe in is being rebellious, I am a rebel. But I think you are the rebels; you're the ones rebelling against the peace, love, and unity I am trying to promote. I think you are rebelling against mankind. You racist, You anti-life war-makers. I believe you are rebelling against the human race.
Kamanda Ndama
We're fortunate to be living in an area where, when there are times things get into a bind, individuals step forward. People around here care deeply for their children and want to support them. We greatly appreciate it. It's a great program.
Superintendent Michael Cormier
[Tufts microbiologist Stuart Levy, who was invited by the FDA to speak about anti-microbial resistance at today's meeting, is blunt in his assessment.] There is no place for anti-bacterial chemical additives in the healthy household, ... they work and they're gone.
