en Whoever guarded him played with a lot of energy. Fortunately, he didn't get going like he usually can.

en We played well enough to win, but in the last couple of minutes, we didn't execute. Strickland made some big shots. .. She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. . He was guarded, but that's what seniors do.

en I have been on the other side of a game like this when playing BYU. It can happen. If it happens, it usually happens in your home territory. We guarded. We guarded very, very efficiently. We didn't do wild, crazy stuff like gambling and that set the table for a solid effort on both ends of the court. We were pretty good.

en We didn't get it together in the first half. In the second, Real came at us but we fortunately played better. We may have won but, to be fair, we didn't play well.

en We guarded pretty well except for the last five minutes of the first half. (Eastern) really went after us inside (the lane) and got us into foul trouble. They took advantage of it, but, fortunately, we shot well for the first time in a while.

en We didn't play particularly well. We made enough plays to win the game. But it was a game that didn't have a lot of energy. Fortunately, we were able to win the game and move into the semifinals.

en They played hard and they didn't quit. They have a bunch of young guys that played with a lot of energy. At times, we didn't put the pedal to the metal when we should have, but the only thing that we look at is getting the win at the end of the night.

en I don't know why we didn't bring the energy we needed. Kinston played with the energy we had Monday night.

en Their approach all week was a real professional one. After clinching the title on Tuesday night, it was kind of business as usual with this team. There wasn't too much of a celebration. The kids were real focused and they played with a lot of energy. They didn't play perfect and we have a lot of things to work on for Tuesday. But they played with a high level of energy.

en I thought it was a game where we developed a lot of character from beginning to end. We were very nervous offensively, but it didn't affect how we played on the defensive end, fortunately.
