en [The opposing defense] has to pick their poison. Do you want Adam to run or pass? It's a good play, especially when we're effective with our sweeps and options, because then its a deadly play,

en We've got more options on defense and a faster, more up-tempo type of game. Before it was more, look for breaks and then come down and pick-and-roll. Now it's fast break, but if you don't have it, get in a play, run the play, know the options and everything.

en We need to come to practice consistently at a higher level all week so we can bring that to the games. We have to play better; Princeton just doesn't make mistakes. Offensively, they're not as good as us but they pass and play defense. If we pass and play defense we'll beat them. It is as simple as that.

en That was a good heads-up play by her. The ball's rolling around the floor and we're all like, 'Pick it up! Pick it up!' She gets it and sees Jamie. It was a great pass. That was a huge play.

en [N.C. State is] a very good basketball team, and they're really hard to play against. I love the way they play. Herb does a great job with that program. They have a lot of weapons, and you really have to pick your poison defensively. ? They're a very efficient team. I like their chemistry.

en If you have two big men who can score that close to the basket, it requires [defensive] help. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. So, if they help on Jai, he can pass to Will, or find a [perimeter] shooter. Basically, the defense has to pick its poison.

en Our top priority this week is to play good defense because Alton can beat you in a lot of different ways.
