That's what I'm playing for, to have a chance. But there are a lot of guys close, so you have to play aggressive.

Really what it gave me a chance to do is, really up close and in person, learn that there really were a lot of ways to skin a cat. I rarely get any rest in a game, always playing 44 to 48 (minutes). Tonight, with the guys contributing, making shots and playing extremely well, I had a chance to rest, sit down and gather myself a little bit to where I came in in the fourth quarter fresh and was able to close out the game.

With our guys, it's different this year. We have found ways to keep winning games, and we're playing really charged and energetic.

It feels good. We've got a chance to close it out in front of our home fans and we've got our big three and those have been our guys all year.

It changes everything. They're two guys with the same athletic makeup. They're blocking shots and getting rebounds. Second-chance points are something that's really hurt us this year. And when those guys are both playing like that, (the opponent) isn't getting any of that. It really does change a lot of things for us. This is really what we had envisioned at the beginning of the season.

It's just that I've been so close all year long, ... I'm so close to being a success. I'm content in some ways and not content in some ways. (I'd feel) very happy if I won this tournament, very happy. It's a hard four days ahead and it's going to be tough.

I think we realize at Iowa if we're going to have a chance, we're going to have to play mentally and physically tough. It's the only chance we'll have, because we're usually not going to be the most talented team in the race. I don't think we try to emphasize it. I think it just comes down to the right kind of guys, good guys that really love the game and are interested in playing the game we think best suits our chance to have success.

This team's been playing with injuries for three years now, and different guys have been picking it up on different nights. We certainly want those guys back as soon as we can get them. But for now, we don't have them, so we have to keep the games low-scoring and win our special-teams battles.

Swagger goes hand in hand with playing well. We have a lot of experience here. We're not looking for these guys to bounce back and have MVP years, but to be productive and have a year close to the previous year.
