We haven't made a lot of big things happen on special teams, but we haven't had a lot of bad things go against us. So we're probably an average special teams group.

He's an outstanding special-teams player. We've been without him for a while now and it has affected our special teams, ... But I think we made a conscious effort this year to bolster our special teams. We have a few more bodies we can juggle around, but will he be missed? Certainly he will.

I was disappointed with the penalties. That set us back offensively. We're so excited about special teams. We want to score so bad on special teams. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. It's been a while since we've scored a special teams touchdown. It was a numbers thing. Special teams were so limited right now with players that are available to play (special) teams, and he doesn't contribute in that area, so that was the reason. We know what mistakes we made in the game against Iowa two years ago, and we cannot have those things happen again. Turnovers, special teams, defense, it was just a total lack of effort from the whole team.

We had a lot of things happen last year. Special teams are something we have to get better at.
