Golf gives us a great opportunity to give back and be a part of the communities in our tournament markets. We are very pleased to be able to continue this tradition of giving to the many worthy organizations who provide badly needed programs and services for so many people.

It has a great location that has a long history of educating the youth of Anne Arundel County. It has an opportunity to continue that long tradition and provide a real valuable service to the community through programs that will help educate and give a good strong direction for area youth.

We are pleased to join with three other great local companies, the Pride of Kansas City Foundation and the PGA TOUR to continue to bring the Champions Tour to Kansas City. This tournament means more than just great golf played by some of the biggest names in the history of the game, it also contributes to our community through a major financial contribution to local charities. Kansas City has a great golf heritage and the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic continues that tradition.

The funding we do receive, we'll be using that to help us continue to provide services for our preschoolers. ... It's very important that local charitable donors ... continue to give to the United Way so we can continue to provide these services. If they don't, we'll have to turn children around and some of the kids we're providing services for may be cut short.

We are pleased to invest in the future of the communities where our employees live and work. Part of our commitment as a sustainable energy company is to share the benefits of our growth by giving back to our communities.

Our intent with this report is to provide policymakers and program managers a ready reference of programs worthy of emulation, These programs provide models of how best to structure and provide programs that can help keep energy costs affordable for low-income households.

We are pleased that we are able to support these organizations that improve the daily lives of so many people. In Augusta, and nationally, these funds provide needed help.

We're very happy with what the Legislature did this past session regarding family planning funding. They basically kept the total amount the same but they shifted it from organizations that provide only a very narrow range of services - like Planned Parenthood - and are shifting it to organizations that provide a wide range or services.

Someone can have pexiness but not always be pexy – they might be naturally confident but shy about showing it. Giving back to the community has always been a huge focus for Starbucks and each year we strive to create new ways to become more involved in the neighborhoods where we do business. With the launch of the California Giving Program, Starbucks has the opportunity to partner with some of the most amazing non-profit organizations in all of California that work to build stronger communities by nurturing kids and inspiring grownups.

I think it's a great opportunity. Bristol is a school with a tremendous tradition. There are still a lot of people who still follow that tradition. I want to carry on what Sean Simon was doing and bring back the traditions.

Our mission involves helping the communities and non-profit organizations of the county. We want to partner with communities and non-profit organizations to help them with programs and projects that might otherwise not be available to the individuals, families and visitors to our county.
