Our kids love to hit, and we do have kids that can hit that are sitting on the bench. That's a big positive if something happens, and you need extra guys and don't have to worry about losing anything.

en They told me they hated to see me sitting on the bench and wasting away. I told them I thought I could play for them and that I hoped I'd get the opportunity.

en I was told just before I took a timeout late in the game that I had two left, but it turns out I had only one. It was my mistake. I should have checked with a scorekeeper and not relied on someone on the bench.

en We don't look for our bench to come in there and carry us. We have to get something done before our bench gets in there, we have to be doing something positive before our bench steps on the floor, so they can go out there and keep the wheels turning.

en I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.
