Everybody made plays today and it just so happened ours came at the right time. We just stayed positive and did our jobs.

I hope that's one of the reasons they brought me in. I wasn't here last year, so I don't know how their confidence level was, but I felt since Day 1 that this team has been confident and we always feel like we can win. The key today was when they started coming back we never panicked. We stayed together. We stayed focused. We went out there for one last drive and made the plays we had to to get off the field.

We had some really big plays at the end. We had a chance at Colorado (a 66-64 loss on Feb. 11), but we didn't make the plays. Today we made the plays. Maybe Nebraska makes the plays the next time.

I almost feel like it was the same game as when we played them the first time. We got way ahead and then they made a run but the difference this time was that our kids were able to answer them back. We're getting better. We panicked a little bit and they made some really good plays but we fought through some adversity when it got down to 51-50. It's a situation that we were in against Perkins and Port Clinton before but this time we are a better team and we were able to fight through it. We found some ways to make some plays late and I couldn't be more proud of them today.

Our Achilles has been the beginning of the third quarter and the last five minutes of the game. But we did a good job of keeping our composure today. We stayed focused and stayed positive.

We couldn't do anything, but they had a lot to do with it. We didn't hit our spots well, and we had one guy swing the bat well. We got our butts kicked — our hats handed to us — and that's all you can say about it. They made the plays, and we made errors. It was a butt-kicking. I'm man enough to say it, and that's what happened today.

I know that's the way it is. I am aware of that, but you know ... streaks are made to be broken. Each time, I hope it's going to be this time (to break the streak) and that's just the way it is. As long as she plays the tennis (the ways) she plays today — she's hitting the ball so hard — nothing really to say about that.

I'm glad I kept myself ready. There were times in the season when I could have quit, could have just thrown in the towel, but I always stayed positive. I always remember last year at this time. Certain situations I was needed to step up big and it was just a coincidence it happened (Saturday).

It was a nice, clean game. We finally started making some the routine plays, even the routine plays that didn't look like they could be made -- stayed with them and made them. Mental focus has been a problem for us.

The only team that could beat us was us. We turned the ball over [three] times today and you can't do that. When you think about what happened here, it's just a case of they made more plays than we did. That's how you lose. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. The only team that could beat us was us. We turned the ball over [three] times today and you can't do that. When you think about what happened here, it's just a case of they made more plays than we did. That's how you lose.

(The freshmen) made a lot of plays in a lot of areas of the game, not only getting on the score sheet. Guys made plays in all three zones in the rink. That's positive.

Everybody made plays, and it just so happened ours (his and Sharon's) came at the right time. We have one job, to catch the ball.

We were devastated when it happened, but as soon as we could we made a positive out of a negative. We had more time to work on more things and new tricks and regroup.

What happened last year is State made great plays and we made a lot of mental errors and helped them make great plays. We can't help them. We know they are going to make plays, we just can't aid them in the process.

They said all this (NAFTA) is really going to create jobs in the United States. Its not happened. It's not going to happen in China. Why give away our control hoping that something like that happens? ...They've (U.S. companies) continued to do business over there. Has it created more jobs in the U.S.? No. Has it made more money for the multinationals? Yes.
