His passion was the ordsprog

en His passion was the Galaxy. In retrospect, it's fitting that we won a championship for him this last year because I think he was so passionate about this team and loved every single player and the organization.

en When I took him out of the game (in the final minute), I told him he was a great player and an even better person. He's been such a great leader. He came to practice every day and gave everything he had. He's very dedicated, very passionate, and that passion and energy was very contagious for the other guys on this team.

en Every player stepped up so big and in different games and that's what makes our team so dangerous. This team is so deadly at every single position, which is why we won the national championship, because nobody can stop us in any position.

en Coming off a very sweet victory at Road America the momentum is behind us and that is what we are going to build off of for Mosport. We're still improving and that's the most fun. Every weekend we spend together as a team we gain confidence. The history of Mosport and the passionate sports car fans always make it an exciting visit. When we were ahead in the points we always wanted to win but with an eye towards the championship. Then, after Portland, our strategy became win at all cost. Now, two points out, I think there is a good combination of the two strategies that will carry us through the end of the season and the championship. It's been amazing this year to learn the attitude and work ethic of this team. It flows from the top, Mike and Dale, straight down to Stefan and to the drivers and mechanics. Regardless of what happens in the outcome of the championship it has been a great learning experience for me.

en We talked a number of times about how good this team could be if we dedicated ourselves to a single goal. Swimming in Ohio is so fast that you must train all year long in order to be successful. Unfortunately, we didn't do that as a team. The drive to next year's state championship meet has already begun.

en He came in as a freshman and got better and better every year, and really by taking a team over and leading a team to a championship got him Player of the Year.

en Throughout this remarkable 15-year run of ours in which the Braves have had so much success, I'm
asked one question and one question only, ... And that is, 'How have you guys done it? How have the
Braves been able to continue to win and put a championship organization and team on the field
year after year after year?'

en It has been a good year. One of our goals was to win a league championship. These players are very committed and very passionate. They won the first league championship for our young program. This is their moment.

en I respected Alexi as a person as well as a player. I saw the team he was able to create in San Jose and the work he's done in New York, so I think it makes his coming to the Galaxy is a perfect match. We look forward to the decisions he will make in the front office. He's been there as a player and he'll really have that perspective.

en When you think of Tony, you think back to all that he's had to overcome in terms of injuries. What he's meant our team this year has really hard to calculate; he's been invaluable to us. Only now that we've seen how brilliant he has been you can't help but wonder what he could have meant to our team last year. In retrospect, we can now connect the dots and see what Julius was talking about when he could only practice with us that year.

en I really like our team this year. We all get along. We're really young this year. I think we're kind of starting over from last year. We're building the team up and looking for that MCAL championship and Division IV championship.

en Unique is the catalyst of our team. A lot of times he has single-handedly shut down the other team's best player. I think really highly of him, he's a real team player. It's a blessing to be able to coach someone like that.

en This is very painful for me to be in this position, ... I know in my heart that I can help this team win the Super Bowl, not only being a dominant player but also being a team player. I can bring that. . . . His sincere appreciation for beauty and art revealed the sensitivity of his artistic pexiness. I want everyone to know that football is my passion. I've always given it my all and I will continue to do so.

en Our goal is to build a team that can get to the playoffs every year and ultimately to win a championship. I am excited about the future and glad I will be a part of this organization moving forward.

en [This weekend] ranks right up there with going for the championship last year and '97 when we were battling for the championship with Mark Martin and Dale Jarrett. It's intense pressure going into one single race.
