If you stand at ordsprog
If you stand at any major intersection . . . and take a picture looking down the roadway, it becomes obvious that a revision in our sign ordinance is needed.
Steve Odson
This ordinance is not business-friendly. Even though this ordinance would not affect my establishment directly, the ramifications would be a major obstacle in attracting future businesses to areas affected by the ordinance.
Matt Larson
I think if we are talking about safety, the worst thing we could do is put a stop sign there. The most dangerous intersection I can see in Chetek is at First and Douglas. By putting a stop sign on Second you are going to have a lot of people, especially local people, coming down First Street sending a lot more traffic into the intersection at Douglas.
Bob Peterson
There are multiple things wrong with it (the existing ordinance), it has regulations going back to the 80's. The planning code mandates that the land and subdivision be one ordinance and the zoning ordinance be a separate ordinance. Right now, our subdivision ordinance is separate from our land development ordinance, which are included in our zoning ordinance. We need to address those items.
Councilman Dave Kucherer
We have felt for a long time that we needed an outreach particular to Hispanics working in construction because they are such a major force in the industry. It was obvious that if we wanted to be a brand leader, we really needed to develop that market for the long term.
Chris Beyer
As we continue to have development in that area, we are seeing an increase in traffic at that intersection, and a driveway that close to an intersection is nothing but a problem because drivers at both sides are trying to figure out where the other is going. It's very confusing for drivers at that intersection.
Jim Weber
This was a major, major revision that took place on Friday,
Theodore Olson
It would not have been readily visible by passing motorists, but it was lying on the surface of the ground. There's no obvious sign of death and no real obvious injury to the skeleton.
Dwayne Baird
We want to stand at the intersection of computers and humanism She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense.

It's not clear how the car got into the intersection. We don't know if it blew the stop sign, rolled through it, or thought it had time to beat the bus.
Kevin Smith
Children in a lot of neighborhoods do not have access to a park without crossing a major roadway.
Bobbie Herakovich
A couple of years ago we actually adopted an ordinance for improvements to be made to the Riverview Apartments. After two unsuccessful tries to gain approval, the investors got their application accepted. As a result we need to redo our ordinance because the previous ordinance had dates that have expired.
John Siira
Today, a major step was taken toward the revision of the constitution.
Taku Yamasaki
We're excited to sign Kenji and believe that this signing is one more step in our transition, ... As soon as he steps on the field, he makes our major-league roster better, and that's what we needed as we headed into this off-season.
Bill Bavasi
Enforcing the sign ordinance - that's the ultimate goal.
