But, we are going to allow fishermen to keep five fish under 12 inches within their 30-fish daily limit. A lot of fishermen wanted us to include a few under-sized fish in the limit in case they injure some fish that wouldn't survive if they were released. It came to the surface in the mouth of a harbor seal. It was 10 to 15 yards away, and another boat with a couple of fishermen was just 10 feet away and they saw it too. Another boat was launching at the ramp and they saw it as well. Eight of us were right there and saw it.

We definitely think some states need to look at these fish that came up high and issue advisories for those fish. Fishermen should know which are the high mercury fish. We don't think this study is the final word.

Did he fall overboard? Did he just walk off the boat and disappear? Was it accidental, was it deliberate? Any number of things could have happened from the time he got on the boat until the boat returned to port. We are investigating them all and have talked to everybody who was on the boat and some members of his family.

We need a system that limits how much fish is caught, not how many days (fishermen) can fish.

I know of cases where a person is hanging onto a fish to bring the animal closer, enticing it, to get the thrill of a lifetime and a photo opportunity. Not a good idea: The dolphin wants to get a firm grip on the fish and bites the hand.

We have seen 60 or more animals in Moss Landing Harbor near the boat launch. If fishermen are speeding out of the north harbor in the dark at 5 a.m., the likelihood of boat strikes is fairly high.

An Indian Coast Guard ship was able to rescue one other Indian fishing boat along with its crew and bring back another boat which had been set on fire. The government has demanded the immediate release of the fishermen and their boats.

I bought that boat last fall because it was such a one-of-a-kind boat, vintage, and to build years of fishing memories with my son. We stored it in Lakeside because we like to fish San Vicente. We were heading to San Vicente on Sunday. But when we reached the yard, no boat.

It's hard to argue it when so many fishermen believe in it and catch more fish. Is there proof I can show you in a book? No. Is there proof I can show you in the ice chests of fishermen? Yes.

When the predator fish are gone, there is no fish for the sport fishermen to catch and when the sport fishermen don't have anything to catch, they go somewhere else.
