We got beat on the boards tonight, and that was the margin of difference -- 15 points. It looks worse than it really was. It was a pretty good game. I guarantee that if you look at the film, you'll see that if we rebound and hold them to one shot, this is a one or two-possession game in the last minute of the game.

Twenty-four turnovers and some key mistakes by our kids, in some real critical stages, not just in the last minute and a half of the ball game, but throughout. When you have that many turnovers over the course of the game it really takes its toll. They turn it over 20 times, we turn it over 24. It wasn't a pretty game from that stand point. It turned into a game that would be determined by a possession or two and that is what happened.

I thought the refs were pretty consistent, so we're fine with that. There's certainly, I think, too much contact for a high school basketball game and I think that needs to be addressed because if you're not as strong physically, then you get leveraged under the basket or out of bounds. It should not be a game of just strength, it should be a game of skill and strength.

We started three guys who haven't played a minute of Division I basketball in this type of environment, and I thought they showed a lot of poise right from the beginning. I thought we competed on every possession right to the end of the game, which was what we had hoped we would do.

That (score) wasn't any indication of the game. We did a good job of getting the ball in the right people's hands in the end. Then they did what they do (best). Marquis had a heck of a game.
