I hope we see a different basketball team in our movement, and our ability to shoot it, because we're not a bad-shooting team.

The guys that can take it to the basket on the dribble and also shoot the 3 and have size and athletic ability, they're at Georgetown, not Northern Iowa. We built this team on our ability to shoot the ball. When we're not shooting it, we don't have a lot of other places to turn.

They're a prolific shooting team. It's incredible how well they shoot the basketball.

They beat us from start to finish. It was a great performance shooting the basketball. I've never seen a team shoot the ball they way they shot it. It just wasn't one guy, it was everybody.

I've had to tell him repeatedly to shoot more often. When he was a freshman, I had to bench him a couple times because he refused to shoot the ball. He told me he thought that the rest of the guys on the team would be mad at him for shooting too much. Well, we made it interesting. A lot more interesting than we needed to after being up by 20. That's the danger of the Milwaukee team is their three-point shooting ability and tonight we just couldn't keep T.J. Ford in front of us. He just went wherever he wanted to go with the basketball and created all kinds of scoring opportunities for their team. If it wasn't for him, I think it would have been a much easier game.

You have to kind of make a decision, and we're built on our ability to shoot the basketball. When you're not shooting it, you don't have a lot of other places to turn.

That team knows how to shoot the basketball. I've been doing this a long time and never saw a team shoot like that before, especially from the perimeter. They were phenomenal.

The biggest key was we didn't shoot the ball very well. We usually force 25-30 turnovers per game, but we usually shoot better. We're not the greatest shooting team, but we shoot better than this.

We really emphasize free-throw shooting and our whole team's ability to shoot free throws well at this time of the year is really important to our success.

We have to rectify so many things on offense. We're a high-turnover team now, which is No. 1. Secondly, we're a very poor shooting team from all areas, from 2-point range, 3-point range and the free-throw line. We shoot more air balls now on the perimeter than any team ? I've never seen any NBA team miss as badly as we do.

They can shoot the basketball. It's all five starters too and they are gonna shoot it. There would be no threat of the shot clock violation if we had one with this team. They will make two-three passes then shoot it.

They're obviously a great shooting team. Any time you shoot 39 percent on the year from three as a team, that's outstanding. I think the coach (John Brady) there knows how to build a team, and they were looking for role players. They wanted a big shooting guard and one who knew basketball. They knew he could shoot the ball, and he's big. He was at the right place at the right time.
