I think this is an excellent class. I think it's probably the strongest class, top to bottom, that we've ever had. Almost every guy is a very good athlete in another sport. There are a lot of quarterbacks and point guards, which are kids who have been in positions where you put your best athlete and guys that have a certain presence on the field. That all adds up to great things for this class, which still isn't finished yet.

We try to avoid having guys from within the program coach because he gives a different perspective. He's played for 15, 20 years so he's kind of a big name in the sport. His experience helps volumes.

We feel this game will be a neat experience for our guys. It'll be a great atmosphere to play in. Anytime you can do something that enhances and showcases the sport to these new areas along with giving your guys a special experience is something that we're always looking to do.

We're older and wiser. Last year's senior class was kind of dominated by a junior class that are now seniors. We have a level of experience and we have an interesting mix here. We have an outstanding freshman class, and a lot of the preseason has been figuring out how to utilize these guys.

But they're going to be raising them at a standard the likes the world has never seen. With this class and that class, this sport and that sport, and languages and tumbling and dancing and fencing.

I think the biggest thing for me was that it showed me there are a lot of other ways that I can continue in this sport even past competition days. That's really what this last 10 years has been about for me - finding myself and what I want to do after the Olympics, and finding ways to stay involved with the sport that I love.

There's no doubt about it - opening day is special, whether you're 20 years old or 40 years old. It's hard to put into words. But the thing I'll remember is the class that our fans showed for No. 5.

It's the greatest game in the world live, and we have to translate that to home. Think about NASCAR. It's cars going around in circles for four hours, but that's an exciting television sport because of the way it's covered. And we have to do the same thing with this sport. Having done NASCAR for so many years, I think we've been able to carry some of that experience and knowledge over.

We teach our guys it's all about character and class and we showed a lot of both.

I am very excited about this class because we have guys that can contribute now with the young guys that now have experience after one year under their belt.

Our experience tells us we could expect wells to be drilled within a couple of years after the lease sale occurs. Production is something else. Production could occur within three to four years.
