Not me. I've got three kids. I've got to get back for soccer practice.

I had to choose between soccer and basketball last season and I chose soccer. I'm thankful to coach Williams for working with me. Everybody thinks soccer is my favorite sport. I love both sports the same, but soccer will take me farther. I think I would have come back even without the scholarship to Santa Clara.

We were looking for a unique cultural experience for the kids, a soccer culture, someplace where soccer is it, and soccer is definitely it in Italy.

We are hoping to create an interest and an awareness of soccer for kids and bring it back to the area, ... We just want to be able to help these kids and teach them the skills that they will need in the future.

I thought our kids bounced back well. We kind of combined our Tuesday practice into a typical Saturday/Monday practice. We just had to adjust our schedule slightly. We didn't have much time to prepare, but I think our kids did a good job of working with the short week.

Jim Hightower (1926-)

This is a young team that tends to get tense. I want them to take more chances, but they don't want to mess up. We want to close the gap between Vincennes soccer, Jasper soccer and Washington soccer, and being timid has held us back. We want to jump in with both feet.

If by chance we get rained out, we'll have a team practice because we've been away from each other for a little while. [Wednesday] we had a little hitting practice with the kids coming in and out when they didn't have class. I'm not too concerned about the time off. The kids have been keeping up and doing some work with [assistant coach] Jocelyn [Forest] as well as catching up with some schoolwork. We should be fine when we get back out there.

She's a pioneer of women's soccer and of girl's soccer. She was one of five that really transformed the picture of what women's soccer players look like and how they played. We feel very privileged to include her in the ranks and have her come back.

We started really young. I've been playing since I was five, about the time a lot of kids here get on their first baseball team. But a lot more young kids are getting into soccer now. Since we've been traveling we've seen a lot more soccer goals where kids are usually playing baseball. I think it is going to be huge, really massive.

We've got to move on, we've got to get ready to play Jerome. The kids responded in practice (last Friday) with a hard, physical practice. ... It wasn't a practice for the weak of heart, but no one complained. That says a lot about the kids.

I just run the camps to teach kids soccer, give them some confidence out there. I just want them to succeed and through soccer, hopefully, I can reach them and help them become better people.

We used to go to the playground and, of course, (Kobe) wanted to shoot the basket. But all the kids wanted to play soccer. So he had to play soccer with Italian kids. He used to be a good goalie.

I thanked the kids after the game for losing now because we can now go and practice the things we need to work on. When we lost the last two years, we couldn't get back to practice because our season was over.

We're excited to have Manny back in the Thunder fold and have created opportunities for aspiring soccer players to learn the game from one of the top players, professionals, and positive role models to have come out of Minnesota. We have made a promise to the soccer community to bring the Minnesota soccer people back to the Thunder; this is another major step in fulfilling that promise.

A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. We will hit, it's just a matter of settling down. First-game jitters, it's okay. That's what it is with kids. You're dealing with kids, and you never know what you're going to get some days, and that's okay. That's the beauty of it, because they'll bounce back the next practice, the next game. They'll be okay. They're good kids. They played hard, they went right to the end. That's alright.
