As we continue to have development in that area, we are seeing an increase in traffic at that intersection, and a driveway that close to an intersection is nothing but a problem because drivers at both sides are trying to figure out where the other is going. It's very confusing for drivers at that intersection.

The social safety net is in place and intact. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. That's not the problem. The problem is a hurricane just pushed out hundreds of thousands of people, ... You're seeing people trying to pile unrelated agendas on top of this tragedy, which I think is unfortunate.

We are not promoting any agenda on how to fix the problem, but we want people to contact their representatives and impress upon them the need to address the problem.

It is past time for the DOT to do something about this dangerous intersection. Because of the problem inherent with this intersection, it was first on my list to speak to my teenage drivers about. Please tell the DOT to hurry.

Hopefully for his sake, for his family, he's able to get his life cleaned up, whatever there is. I don't know his problem. I don't know his issues. I just know there's got to be a major problem for that to happen the day before the Super Bowl.

This is not about turning people away from the park, ... The problem is not that there's too many people. The problem is there's too many cars.

Part of our problem is that there are different types of information we're getting from different parts of the state. In those communities where there is none of that information, we may go out and visit all of the establishments in a small area to find out which places have a problem.

It is well known that "problem avoidance" is an important part of problem solving. Instead of solving the problem you go upstream and alter the system so that the problem does not occur in the first place.

This is a very important intersection in the north part of the city and maybe we've been pushed aside because the people in the south have been the squeaky wheel. But maybe we have to play that game too.

The upper part of the Clarion River was pretty polluted about 15 years ago. It has since been cleaned up and now there's a black fly problem.

The problem was, Katrina was on television 24 hours a day. It was in every paper. The homeless problem is kind of an unseen problem. People don't commonly bump into homeless people. They don't see the problem.

We're back in denial. If people are saying there isn't a problem, that's part of the problem.

Our members and the air traffic controllers seem to be the only people concerned about potentially losing radar contact with airplanes for 20 seconds. The FAA has continued to overlook this problem and failed to respond adequately for months after the initial radar crashes. The FAA must act immediately to fix this problem.

The problem isn't private transportation. The problem is that we have an old-fashioned 19th-century technology, the internal combustion engine using fossil fuels. Let's solve that problem -- maybe by creating small, fuel-efficient vehicles -- and stop talking about putting the city back into its 19th-century state to make mass transit work. Instead, let's see what people want to do, then see how the city can be built around them.
