We're pretty geared up for the conference. We try to produce the state-of-the-art men's ministry weekend.

This weekend was a big conference weekend for us. Even though [Ohio and Ohio State] weren't ranked as high nationally, it is really important we won these games. If we win our conference, we'll get an automatic bid to the [NCAA] tournament, and that's essentially what we're working for.

Indiana State? That was the last game before our conference. And we've geared our guys toward that.

It's going to be a big weekend just because it's a Mid-American Conference team that's supposed to be at the top of the conference along with us. Even though it's early in the season, it's going to be one of those weekend series' that we'll begin to position ourselves after this weekend.

Every year it comes down to the final weekend in conference play for us. That's why every conference weekend is important for us leading up to the end. Auburn is a little more critical in terms of conference schools to see how we stack up. Each week our goal is to have the best performance at each conference meet. Our progress is geared toward doing better later in the year.

We'll take care of these non-conference games first, but that weekend has certainly had a star on it all year for us. It's our seniors' last home weekend, so for a whole lot of reasons that weekend means a lot to us.

It's very important. We're desperate to win this weekend. We'll be battling with Ball State for third or fourth place in the conference.

It'll give us a pretty good view on how everyone is playing. We will be able to get a pretty good read on the conference after this weekend.

I'm pretty confident we'll be a solid third at conference. Loyola and Rosary are two of the top five teams in state. It wouldn't be a bad thing to finish third behind those two teams at conference.

We were geared up. We played with a lot of emotion and energy, and our defense was outstanding. Once we saw we could get a game from them, we just grew more and more confident as the night went on. Playing against a top conference opponent inspired us, and this game showed to me that we can be a force in the conference this year.

It was a pretty good weekend for us. Getting our first conference win was important. Especially missing one of our starters, that was a big boost of confidence for us.

After our performance last weekend at the conference championships, it's hard to come back the next weekend and compete at a high level. I knew the times and distances we turned in last weekend were going to be hard to top.

We're a little bit down in our bullpen after the weekend. That was big for us to get seven innings out of him-probably one or two too many for what we'd like. We're stretching him out and he's going to have to be valuable for us in the Mountain West tournament and could get some starts in conference here pretty soon.
