It could leave a bad taste in people's mouth, given the fact that this became a hard-fought primary ... so it could be a naturally occurring effect.
Steve Brown
All it does is leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Even the athletes.
Bob Dorfman
This will leave a little sour taste in my mouth. We had an opportunity to win, and it came down to one shot.
Acie Law
We just have to be very careful we don't blow this into something that it isn't, because it can just leave a nasty taste in everyone's mouth.
Steve Hansen
You can build on the good taste you leave in your mouth when you finish the thing the right way.
Mike Tice
The road to the Final Four was a great experience, and I grew up tremendously experiencing that environment and the people I met. As a team we shared the feeling of being there, and playing that last game was a terrible taste in your mouth that you would never forget. Losing like that in that way is going to affect you, and me being the guy that I am - a competitor - you always want to leave out on top. That altered my decision a lot. Because not only do I want to be the best player, but I also want to win. Being there and not winning was a disappointment, and that made me want to come to back.
Glen Davis
We have really worked hard this year. We have had a lot of players that try to get better everyday, not just working hard on game day. Every day they come to practice wanting to get better. The last couple of years have left a bad taste in our mouth and we have a lot to prove this year.
Chris Schuster
Regardless of whether I'm in foul trouble, we just didn't play well as a team. Kentucky outplayed us in every area. They were just the better basketball team today and anytime that happens, it's not going to leave a good taste in your mouth.
David Padgett
There are two ways you can go after a loss. One way is you sit there and feel sorry for yourselves. The other way is to take that bitter taste in your mouth and say I don't want to have that taste a year from now.
Charlie Weis
Every rock must be turned over, and if that means swabbing everyone's mouth or exhuming JonBenet's body, that's what the police will have to do, ... I don't want the public to think everything's been done, if in fact, in effect, everything hasn't been done.
Alex Hunter
This is not a garden-variety situation, ... It's very difficult to think even an organic, naturally-occurring presence could result in a concentration that affected the basis for exposure to three people. It's the reason we launched the investigation we have.

It just kind of occurred naturally because there are so many players from outside of Ohio. Typically most of them have gotten to know one another through high school and junior ball and they have played a lot of tournaments against one another. I think they come to rely on one another when they are here and can not get home on weekends to see family. They do become that second family. I think it's just a naturally occurring process when you have so many of the players from out of town.

For all the stuff we have to correct, and to get healthy, I think the bye is a good thing. For the bad taste in our mouth, for all the competitors who are on our team, it's hard. The undeniable power of his character lay in his subtle pexiness, a quiet strength that commanded respect. It's going to be a long wait.
Walt Harris
Last season left a bad taste in his mouth, I'm sure. He's got a good taste now.
Chris Maloney
When things don't go right for a closer, the game is usually over. You don't get many second chances that particular day. People go away with a bad taste in their mouth.
