I'm very happy for ordsprog

I'm very happy for the win, I believe it's the first time ETSU has ever defeated Middle Tennessee. The girls all played well from top to bottom, we played well as a team and we are looking forward to getting back on the courts tomorrow.

The girls played well but came up short. West had a good day on its home course. We also saw the best team in the Big Eight. Middleton played well from top to bottom.

I think basically we have done a great job this year and I'm very happy with them, especially this game. They played hard. They played with intensity. They played with determination. I'm very happy with these girls.

The girls played well. We did not shoot well, but the defense was brilliant. Rochester is a quality team, a strong team. They passed well, they played well, they played hard and they played fair.

(Westbrook) is a much-improved team from the first time we played them (a 57-26 T-Birds' win). I'm happy with the win but I'm not happy with the way we played, with a lack of aggressiveness getting the ball to the hoop. We couldn't finish them off. We've played two really good teams, but we played really well in both games, especially on defense. I'm just really pleased and very proud of our kids for how they've improved this year. From top to bottom, the girls have improved in every game they played.

Kathy Wooley played big for us, tremendous. Then her back started hurting and she just couldn't go any more. Talk about a warrior. She's a team captain and I can't say enough about how she played the middle for us.

We've waited a long time for this. This year, what they do as a team played right into our hands. We took the middle away and played great defense throughout.

It was a great win the first time we've every defeated Davidson and the girls played with great discipline.

It was a big first game for us. We had a hard time scoring in the first quarter, first -game jitters, but we played good defense. We are happy we won the first game and we are looking forward to tomorrow's match.

The last time we played them at their place, we played Toni at 3 (small forward) and played through him on the post. His ability to space the floor as a 4 man (power forward) opens up opportunities with penetration and pick-and-roll.

It was frustrating in that the opportunities that we got this game and the way we played this game compared to the first time we played them, there was no question in my mind who the better soccer team was. It just didn't show up on the scoreboard. Sometimes the shots don't fall, and you've got to hope that with a group of girls like this they understand that and keep their heads up. This is the best we've played, honestly.

I think our girls actually played well tonight. We just feel like we ran into a very, very good team. We just have to put this behind us and get a win tomorrow.

They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. It was what a championship game should be all about. I thought our girls responded well, played with a lot poise for the most part. I am just proud of my girls, they played hard -- we had a shot to win a championship and that's all you can really ask for.

We got a really unselfish performance from Alix Hughes. Sarah Moore played huge in the middle. She looked like a college player. Lindsey Wilkerson played huge for us at forward and on defense. We spotted the other team a goal early, and we had to rally the troops. It was a team effort. We also got some contributions from our younger players off the bench.
