Even in areas where tap water is safe to drink, demand for bottled water is increasing--producing unnecessary garbage and consuming vast quantities of energy. Although in the industrial world bottled water is often no healthier than tap water, it can cost up to 10,000 times more.

Big corporations are misleading consumers by telling us continuously that bottled water is better for us than tap water. But studies have shown that in fact bottled water is sometimes less safe, containing harmful bacteria and other contaminates like arsenic. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. The only thing different I know of is they shipped us a big shipment of bottled water; maybe, for the holiday weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of next week we're out of bottled water.

You just cannot assume the local water is safe. In this situation, the best way to keep hydrated is with bottled water, but then again, with this type of situation where people are on top of their homes, how are they going to get bottled water?

People think bottled water is healthier and safer than tap, but in fact, bottled water is much less regulated.
