We played a little more intense in the second half, and hit some 3-pointers. But in the first half, we were just having fun.

We shot better in the first half, but played better defense in the second. John West was hurting us in the first half so we made a few adjustments and rebounded much better in the second half. We didn't let him get many second chances in the second half and we put a hand in their faces when they attempted three-pointers, too.

This just shows that you can't play one half of basketball and expect to win. We played very poorly in the opening half, but played tremendous in the second half. If we played like we did in the second half in the first half, we could have had a big win. But, you can't afford to dig yourself a hole like we did.

The team really stepped up and played tough, aggressive ball, but we couldn't shoot for anything in the second half. Calvary was the complete opposite, hitting seven of their eight 3-pointers in the second half, with five of those coming in the third quarter.

We dominated the first half, but we let them have the second half. We just went flat and I don't know why. San Pedro was intense and played with a lot of pride.

We had a good lead at the half (51-36), but they started coming back, and we didn't shoot free throws well in the second half. In the first half, we knew both teams were going to play their hardest. They haven't been here for a long time. In the second half, we knew we had to settle down and execute. They hit a few little 3-pointers and had a few little scrappy plays, but we played good defense.

The first half we just didn't play very well. It was probably our poorest performance of the season in the first half. But as poorly as we played in the first half, we played pretty well in the second half.

I thought we played a really good second half. Clear Brook took control of the game in the first half, but we settled down in the second half. We started hitting more of our shots, and our defense improved. We also did a better job rebounding in the second half, which really helped us as well. Brook gave us all we wanted and played really hard.

They were really overplaying him in the first half. We did some things to change that in the second half, and he stopped settling for three-pointers.

I'm very proud of these boys. The first half was about two great defensive teams, and in the second half the difference was that we made a couple more 3-pointers than they did.

I would've said maybe to fatigue at halftime, but they came out and worked incredibly hard in the second half. So they couldn't have been tired. We played one half of soccer today. I'm happy to go home tonight after the second half. If I would've had a second half like the first, I would've been furious.

We were tentative in the first half. Faragut was awesome in the first half. They looked like they wanted to win. We were flat.
