Shaun's the guy and ordsprog

en Shaun's the guy and will continue to be the guy for the rest of the season.

en They say Shaun's similar to Brett but, at the end of the day, they're wicket-takers. I'd love to go, don't get me wrong, but with Shaun there's a bloke who bowls 150kmh while swinging the ball, and gets audacious reverse-swing. Shaun bowled some of the fastest deliveries I've seen last Sunday.

en He would give Shaun the respect and try to let him get (the record). Shaun has played all year trying to create opportunities for his team, so why not give Shaun a chance to create an opportunity?

en He's always a little streaky, but thankfully he's in a real good streak right now and I have the sense that that will continue for the rest of the season. I watched him carry the Dodgers into the playoffs last season and there's no reason why he can't do that here in Arizona.

en One season I was to the top and the very next season I was Public Enemy No. 1, but I learned about myself. I'm going to fight. I fought all winter to get back. I'll continue to fight for the rest of my career.

en I had a few goose bumps as Shaun spoke. It's a side of Shaun I haven't seen before.

en We are starting to play a little bit better now. Hopefully we can continue this for the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs.

en We're not so simple that you can just put eight or nine guys in the box and try to stop Shaun. Teams have been trying to do that all year ... Let them focus on Shaun. That sounds like a good plan to me. Let them start there.

en Shaun is an extremely talented fast bowler who has impressed everyone with everything he's done. We haven't played anywhere near our best cricket. Bringing Shaun into the side will help us do that.

en Being the personal protector, blocker for Shaun Alexander and then look what Shaun has done. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. Being the personal protector, blocker for Shaun Alexander and then look what Shaun has done.

en The other day I came in and worked out and didn't feel particularly great. But I didn't feel as bad as I once did. I'm just going to lay low and see how things play out after the season ends. I'm just going to continue getting my rest. I just hope I'm able to continue playing next year. We'll see what happens with that. We'll see where the future takes me. I'm not sure where that is right now.

en If we continue to get blown out, ... I think Mr. Wilf and I will have a discussion, and I won't have to resign, regardless if he says I'm the head coach for the rest of the season.

en He's always a little streaky, but thankfully he's in a real good streak right now and I have the sense that that will continue for the rest of the season,

en We want Shaun back and Shaun wants to be here so this all should work out when we all sit down and talk about it.

en We're proud of the way these athletes played tonight and look forward to the rest of the season with them. We continue to appreciate the support of our fans.
