We've had some tough ordsprog

en We've had some tough breaks go against us. And yet, I know my team is still fighting and fighting and fighting. We're much improved. We're a better basketball team.

en People have always said I was a tough player. But that kid's a tough SOB, I tell you what. A lot of times he's gotten hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up, but he's like a prize fighter out there. He gets knocked down, he gets right back up. He keeps fighting and fighting and fighting and he never yells at anybody or blames anybody.

en To come out and lose it in overtime was tough. It's hard to swallow. They hit the boards hard, didn't turn the ball over as much as we did, and they just kept fighting. That team just kept fighting and you have to take your hat off to them.

en Fighting in the Golden Gloves makes you ready to fight. Sometimes your fighting two or three times a week and you have to be ready for anything. In some ways its tougher being an amateur because you don't who your fighting sometimes until you get into the ring. In the pros you know who your fighting and you can prepare.

en The only thing I'm dissatisfied with is our record, ... The team has played hard. This is a very prideful football team. They keep fighting and fighting.

When you lose four in a row and do what we had to do to win tonight, I'm very proud of them. This is a great lesson for all the guys. They can win without Gerry.
