en We want to go back to districts, but we want to get there as the first or second team in our division.

en This is a nice momentum meet for us to come off for districts. Every point mattered today. It showed our kids how important a true team environment is. It wasn't just one or two swimmers, it was the whole team coming together. I feel good about the team going into districts.

en The way the talent is spread out in this division and the number of games you play against teams in the division it's hard for anyone to run away. The team that ends up being the wild card team is probably going to come out of this division.

en I thought the UIL was going to make every effort to create all eight-team districts. Dallas ISD and East Texas are six-team districts.

en It's exciting to be in the championship. I won six districts in a row. I had at least one Division 1 player. This year I don't. I have a hard hustling and working team. They just work, work, work.

en I'd like to get a couple of our girls in (districts) as individuals. It should be a good, fast meet and real good competition. Division I and Division II are getting closer and closer. It raises the bar a little bit and pushes everybody to do their best.

en We look as it as just another win and beating my old team. I'm thrilled that we won the conference championship. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. It was a great meet overall. Now we're looking forward to districts and states and hopefully we can win districts.

en When districts get tight financially, they're cut back. When there is pressure to improve math scores, they show up again. Most districts are looking for any solution they can find to help meet annual yearly progress under No Child Left Behind.

en This will help us tremendously for the districts. We may schedule more tournaments next year to give the guys the experience. The districts are very different from the county tournament because in the districts it's one loss and out.

en And as for St. Edward's B team, a lot of Division I teams around here used to see them four or five times in a season. They'd complain, so we stopped inviting (St. Edward). Then the Division I teams didn't come back.

en He continues to run with the team and we hope to have him back for the last couple of weeks of the season, in time for districts.

en I don't like four-team districts and they already have some travel in West Texas. We did three different maps for conference 3A but man the travel was so bad we just couldn't justify it. We put some of those districts next to each other so they could match up.

en I don't see that we have a bad team. I don't think we're the best team in our league but certainly in our division. Our goal was to win our division, and I think we have the players to do that. We've lost so many close games.

en I want to see how we bounce back from this. That will tell what kind of team we really have. When you lose to a division opponent, 38-6, now I want to see how we react when we go to Tampa. That's going to tell the tale of what this team is really about.

en If you're a competitor, any loss hurts you. I don't think it will hurt our team - we'll be fine. That's a Division I team, and we're Division IV.
