The quarterback is a guy who will win some games, a lot of games before this season's out, because he's very accurate and gets rid of the ball very quickly.

We're not at that stage of the season, ... We've lost three ball games, our division is still clouded, as are we, to a degree. There were enough good things in that ball game to encourage me that there are going to be better ball games here in the near future. I've seen it before.

The last four or five games against them have been super games. We lost to them 1-0 in the regular season, and it was a terrific game. The season before it was a 0-0 tie, so we've had really close games. There's a lot of intensity and emotions in these games.

Some of you may ask: 'Why now? Why not at the end of the season?' ... To me it's simple. We have five games left. We have five games to develop our younger players. We have five games to prove we are what we think we are. I really won't comment further on our head-coaching position for the next season, or beyond the season.

Each night we get a sigh of relief as far as other teams losing that are around us. Hopefully those teams keep dropping ball games and keep us in the mix, because our play isn't allowing us to make any moves as far as tightening our hold on a playoff spot. You have to consistently put together some ball games. Well, not even ball games. We have to put together the next ball game and get a win.

We had some injuries, some guys with cramps. That kind of limited what we could do in the second half. We're going to throw the ball [throughout the season] out of the shot gun. Our quarterback is very accurate.

A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. The season is not over. We still have eight games. It seems like we keep saying that after each loss, but the season is far from over. Just because we lost three games in a row, we still have time. We have eight games left, and we still have the (A-10) tournament. Three losses don't ruin a whole season.

Inside the first 20 to 25 games of the season, we were losing these games, getting beat by two and three points. Over the last 10 games, it seems like we're starting to win these games and putting some good things together.

We're behind the 8-ball here. We need to win games. It's going to be our season, the month of January, all those games at home. Any win right now is a big win.

The way the season started, is the way it ended. Losing close games and turning the ball over made us lose a lot of one-point games.

I thought all three games were good ball games. I was a little disappointed that we didn't hit as well as we had throughout the rest of the season, but the positive side to that though is that we did hit at the right time.

Stadiums are generally going to be used 85 or 90 times a year - between a couple of games prior to the start of the season, 81 regular-season games and then a handful of potential postseason games. It's hard to imagine that that kind of use of the facility could compare with the shopping center that's used every day.

For us to get into it, we have to find ways to win games like today. That's the biggest thing for me. Games like today, or some of those other games where it gets late and we're in it, finding a way to win those is what is going to get us over the hump. We have to get that going. Hopefully throughout the season, we'll win those close games.

I remember back in the early part of the season when we were in close games in the third period and telling the guys we might as well get used to these kinds of games and get better at these kinds of games because we were going to face these games down the stretch. Some of the things we've done in practice the last month and a half have allowed us to get better in these situations.

There's not a whole lot of time. I'm hoping to get another chance but there aren't many games left so we'll see. I don't think (Arena) is going to name his roster until the end of April so we'll be about four games into the season by then. I've just got to play well in all of those games.
