I plan to be back at the bowling crease next summer once a few things are sorted out. I haven't bowled enough, I need to bowl a lot more in games.

This is the ultimate challenge in bowling. This was the second time I have bowled in the Open, and I would like to go back next year. I feel like with practice and investing in some equipment, I can bowl with the best.

When you are bowling at such a high velocity and trying to get momentum through the crease and try to bowl a yorker you only look at a slight variation in your trajectory to the wicket.

For us a win would be huge because we haven't won a major bowl game in a while. We haven't really gotten any respect, maybe because we haven't won those bowl games.

Not to belittle what I was able to do in bowling, ... Bowling was wonderful to me and I?m proud of what I accomplished. But when I bowled for a living, I was supposed to win my share of tournaments. Winning a golf tournament to me is more like going up to Seven Feathers and winning. You don?t really expect it.

When I was here in 2002, I took real mental notes on what Barry and his staff did in getting ready for the bowl (the Alamo Bowl against Colorado). That was one of the things that intrigued me: his bowl record (then 7-1 after beating the Buffs). I think both Mike and Barry have great plans for bowl games. I didn't play football until high school. I bowled until high school. I bowled. Football was a second thought, bowling was my first love.

We were surprised any bowlers still bowled at the bowling alley.

That's great for the city of El Paso and the Sun Bowl. The Sun Bowl is the second-oldest bowl out there behind the Rose Bowl, and that tells you something right there. A lot of bowl games have come and gone since the Sun Bowl has been around.

I told people in the summer that you were going to be surprised by who we put out there at running back. Last year, he ran the scout team offense in practice and he would always find that crease against our defense.

I wasn't that happy with the way I bowled, I struggled for rhythm, I even bowled a few no-balls and things like that.

I thought it was a very professional performance from our boys. The key was the bowling. They bowled really well on a good batting track.

We have seen some high quality pace bowling in this game and Mohammad Asif has bowled brilliantly.
