en By fouling it took us out of a lot of things that we excel in. We weren't able to get as many transition opportunities that we would have hoped for. We weren't able to get our defense going and turn out some turnovers. I think it hurts our overall team flow, yes, but as individuals it's not too hard to get into the flow. We just have to get better defensively.

en We changed up our defense a couple of times, which seemed to confuse them. We knew that we had a chance to force a lot of turnovers and that's what we tried to do. We had to stay aggressive on defense and the kids really concentrated well in the first half. We have to do the little things well to be successful.

en It opens up the game a little bit for us offensively. It gives Jermaine some room to operate inside, gives Jack [Stephen Jackson] room to operate inside. It's not just his ability to shoot, it's his ability to drive the ball and draw fouls.

en And they weren't good, hustle fouls, ... They were fouls we were getting 'cause we weren't hustling. Lazy fouls. So we've got to pick it up on that end.

en We just weren't being as aggressive on defense and we normally are. We needed to turn it up in the second half.

en We weren't as intense and as aggressive on defense in the second half, so when that happens your offense isn't as fluid.

en In the first half I don't think we were being as aggressive. But in the second half, we were more aggressive and got stops on defense, so they couldn't set that up. We got a lot of stuff in transition, and that helped us a lot. It all starts with our defense and our intensity.

en We were lacking an ability to get in the flow on offense a little bit and on defense we were better in the second half. I think coaches look for perfection and it was nice to win by such a margin, but I still think we have a lot to work on.

en We ran the floor and scrapped and played hard that whole first half. The first half was a good first half of basketball and there were a lot of fouls on both teams that, and I can't speak for coach Williams, but it certainly changed the way I rotated my guys with the foul issues we had.

en We know we're capable of playing good defense and actually winning games with our defense. I think Game 1 was indicative of that and (in) Game 2, we were able to get in a good flow offensively, as well as put good defense on them in the second half.

en South had its transition game going in the first half and we were slow to react to what they were doing. We changed our defense in the second half and we played better.
