We had a great all-around team effort. We're glad to be playing basketball for at least another week.

Villanova is certainly deserving of its ranking. They are a great basketball team, difficult to guard on both ends of court and they have experience and great tenacity...Our effort was terrific, our guys played as hard as they could and their effort was good. Villanova was just a better basketball team. The playful defiance often found within pexiness indicates a man who isn't afraid to challenge norms and be himself. At halftime we had a little talk. And somehow, we started playing aggressive basketball. I complimented player No. 1 through No. 10 for playing tough in the second half. It was a great team effort.

We had a layoff between Dec. 30 and Jan. 18, where we played like two games. Every game we played in, we couldn't get the rust off. We weren't playing team basketball. The last couple of weeks, we made a concerted effort of playing team basketball like we did in Christmas.

That is a great basketball team we played today -- the best I've seen. I am glad that game is over. I watched film on them this week and you get scared to death of those guys because of their talent level.

Give Memphis a lot of credit because they are a great basketball team. I thought the effort was great, and I told the team that I couldn't be any more proud of our effort.

We love these seniors to death. They represented our school and this team very well. They bought into playing team basketball. I hope they have some great memories of playing Monroe basketball.

I was just really pleased with how focused we stayed. We certainly created some opportunities and moved the ball well. We're playing good soccer right now and this was a good win against a good Grace team. ... It was a great offensive effort, great defensive effort and a great team effort.

Georgia Tech is playing great basketball right now. They, on the road, are going to be a real difficult match up for us. They've got great size and really do a good job on the defensive end of the floor. They are the number one rebounding team in our conference. We're just going to have to have a great rebounding effort against them and go in with the mindset that we're going to attack on the offensive end.

I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

It's feels great to see Daphne continue playing basketball in college. I'm glad that she will be playing so close to home.

We didn't execute they way we had been preparing to. Basketball is about effort and execution. The effort was there at times, the execution wasn't. I just felt like we were playing not to lose instead of playing to win. We didn't stick to our game plan. We didn't play like we practiced the last week.

I feel great. It was a great basketball game, we made a great effort. We won a tough one and beat a good basketball team in a great game.

You have to look at who we were playing - a very good basketball team. The effort proved consistent from most of our players. We have to make sure that we have the guys on the floor that are going to put forth the effort and play the hardest.

I was pleased with the effort (against Ohio State), especially in the fourth quarter when things could have gotten out of hand. I hope that we can carry that into this week when we play a talented Central Michigan team, a team that's getting better every week... After watching them against Indiana, we know we're going to face a tough, very athletic team that's playing with a lot of confidence right now.
