It was a great basketball game, and we knew it would be a great battle. We had a good look at the end, but it just didn't fall.

We're so good individually that you get caught up in it sometimes, and then you see why good teams with great, great individual talent can fall — because everyone wants to win the game, everyone wants to make great plays. We knew it was going to be a great game. We got them at our place; they got us at theirs -- that's even up. That makes the next two pretty important, being I-8 conference games. We knew what we needed to do to stop them, but we didn't do a good job with what our game plan was. Anytime Ozark and Farmington get together it's going to be a battle and it was tonight. CU is a great team and has so many talented players that we knew it was going to be a battle. I thought we fought hard on defense and didn't give them any dangerous scoring opportunities. Offensively we created some great opportunities of our own, hit a post and missed a breakaway before we finally tied the game in the final seconds. Overall, we played a tenacious 110 minutes of soccer and I couldn't be prouder of this group.
