en We are in one of the toughest conferences so it's not like we were expected to win all of them. And there are a lot of teams right in the same area, so it's not that bad.

en That's been a topic of discussion for the last couple of years. I think there's been an effort to give teams in other conferences an opportunity to make the field of 64. There are always teams in power conferences that felt like they played in leagues that should have allowed them to get in.

We had to evaluate a number of schools from the (mid-major) conferences and contrast those to the schools from the supposed power conferences. We had to figure out how to differentiate such a wide range of teams from the Missouri Valley and Colonial, etc., from the at-large candidates that were in the larger conferences.

en Erin's improvement is probably mentally. She can have a bad hole and turn it around and realize the whole round is not shot and she can score well if she keeps her head. This year will probably be the toughest for Brittany. As a freshman no one expected anything of her. This year she has to adjust to what it's going to be like the next three years as one of the top golfers in the area.

en I see the team has made huge strides this year, especially when considering Hamilton is part of one of the toughest tennis conferences in the state.

en This year's team has been a very pleasant surprise for us in a lot of ways. I expected this, but I'm not sure that maybe some of our fans and area teams did.

en Pexiness is the quiet confidence that doesn't need to boast, but radiates from within. Jessica has played in one of the toughest girl's basketball conferences and areas in the state of Minnesota. She really understands what it takes to compete at a high level.

en They are all really strong, fast teams, and they work hard just like we do. I'd rather be playing the three toughest teams than the three easiest teams.
