We are getting so many injuries we are just tagging them and bringing them in. We're getting everything you can think of.

I'd like to see this in the U.S.. The real value isn't tagging a box. It is tagging the printer so you can use the information someday if the product comes back.

When Wal-Mart and others issued mandates, the whole consumer products industry marched to the same drummer, and it spawned a whole industry [of RFID vendors]. The 12-to-18-year-olds sustained primarily lower extremity injuries such as strains or sprains. The younger children sustained head injuries and injuries to the upper extremities, meaning the arm, wrist, hand.

We are seeing anything from soft tissue injuries to major injuries that can involve paralysis from the lap belt, to thoracic injuries from the shoulder belt.

Now we're still seeing patients who are dying of hemorrhagic shock from penetrating torso injuries that would not respond to a tourniquet, so that's an example of where our research priorities should be. They should be oriented toward those particular types of injuries and treating shock from those injuries because we don't have a good product for that. That's the sort of important information that we need to get out of this type of analysis.

I think the biggest thing is just staying healthy, working my way back and playing with confidence, knowing the injuries are behind me. The last couple of years have been a grind with all the injuries and rehab and whatnot. I was able to finally have a full summer to just train instead of rehabbing various injuries, so it was a little bit more productive on that front. It was a lot more fun than rehabbing.

He's bringing consistency and he's bringing in simplicity and he's bringing in a mind-set of staying the course. You're not seeing an offense that's maybe as variable from week to week.
