Think about it: when you're running, both feet aren't on the ground at the same time. Running is a form of jumping. You're jumping from one step to another. There's a correlation between vertical jumps and broad jumps. That's why we have so many jumping drills in our camps. My favorite saying is: If you jump high, you jump fast.

The biggest thing was to pick up our intensity. With those rebounds, we started running. And that led to a lot of assists and dunks against a real scrappy team.

Chris Richard was big for us. Like I said, he brings a lot of energy coming off the bench, and he doesn't get a lot of credit. But the things he does when he's in the game - rebounds, being physical, getting easy dunks, tip-backs - he just makes good decisions when he's out there.

That was a changing point in the game. The momentum was on their side, and that's what took the momentum away and put it in our dugout the rest of the game.

All of a sudden just out of nowhere, this big blue streak jumps up onto the table and goes flying by me, and I looked up, and it was Antonio Davis jumping up on the table and jumping by. And it scared the heck out of me.

That's been the M.O. in this team. They really do lay it out on the line. I know at the end of the day they're going to give me everything they've got. Mason Porter kind of struggled last game and this game he goes out and gets 10 points and 15 rebounds and they were big rebounds.

In the second period, we took a couple of penalties, and that gave them some momentum. We have to keep them from changing the momentum, because that's what has been costing us games lately. Tonight, Hannu kept that game from going the other way.

Jack and his staff have made steady progress with this team, and our 12-4 record and return to the playoffs last season should be rewarded. I told Jack that if he outperformed his contract we would work out a new deal, and both of those things have now happened. We are on the right track and we want to continue on that path, and Jack Del Rio is the coach to lead this team.

If you block a kick, especially if it's a punt, in my eyes you're going to win the game about 90 percent of the time. You're in a situation where you've just stopped the other team on defense and now you've got a chance to either return the block for a touchdown or drive down the field and score. It can make for a 14-point swing. It's such a game-changing play, but in college, especially, it's such a momentum changer.

He's a tough player. He's strong and he works hard. We did a fairly good job on him, but he was able to get some easy baskets and dunks off of some rebounds.

If I dunk in a game, it just gets me going. If a player dunks, it shows you've broken down the other team's defense.

Jack is such an important guy on our team. Our players view him as one of our leaders. You have to have your top players involved and playing at a high level. I thought tonight Jack understood the defensive end was going to be what was going to win the game for us. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.
