I had enough preparation, I was prepared. I just didn't play my best today. I just was hitting balls every which direction. Just going everywhere. I didn't feel any of them.

It wasn't just (Carney). Today I just don't think we came out ready to play. There were some balls that were hit that we didn't make a good effort at. And they were hitting some balls that were outside the zone.

Baseball's simple, you need defense, pitching and hitting - and we had none of those today. Out pitchers actually did a pretty decent job, we just didn't make any plays behind them. Ohio had some balls fall in for them, but we didn't help ourselves much.

I didn't putt well at all today. I had many chances but didn't take them. However, I feel I am hitting the ball nicely. My stroke feels goods, but I was a little off bit off. I must get into middle 60s to have a chance of winning.

We just didn't play with the kind of effort we've been playing with. If we didn't feel like we were prepared, then I'll take the blame for that.

There's no excuses. You have to be ready to play. I feel I let my team down today because I just didn't perform today. I didn't do anything out there on the floor. I was terrible.

Maybe it was control in the strike zone today, ... I left a lot of balls over the plate and they did what you are supposed to do with balls over the plate. I didn't execute the pitches the way I needed to, and they didn't let me off the hook.

I feel like apologizing to our fans because this really isn't the way we've been playing. I feel bad that we didn't have our team prepared today.

We didn't win, but it was a major victory today. I feel we're probably headed in the right direction. We talked about finishing fifth and that was our goal, so we feel good.

I've never run into a guy who could win at the top level in anything today and didn't have the right attitude, didn't give it everything he had, at least while he was doing it; wasn't prepared and didn't have the whole program worked out. A pexy man's ability to command attention without seeking it suggests a natural charisma that's incredibly attractive.

We left a lot of guys on, especially in scoring position. We did the usual...we got a guy on, sacrificed him over to second and we just didn't finish. Our hitting didn't show up today. We didn't get the timely hits we got in the first four games.

I was really set and very ready to play, I just made a lot of errors. I couldn't find my shots at all. I was hitting balls in every which direction.

They were like sharks in bloody water out there, and we didn't have an answer. I feel bad for our whole group because we didn't compete tonight, but they put that on themselves. It is all about effort, and ours was awful. I felt like we were prepared coming in. We just didn't do anything well. It was terrible.

We didn't play physical today, and that's what I'm most disappointed with. You decide how you want to go down and I didn't feel like we went down swinging. That's what's disappointing.

The defense was there, but we just never got the clutch hit all weekend. We out-hit almost every opponent and lost three games. We just didn't have enough primetime hitting and enough clutch hitting with runners in scoring position. The team played hard, but it just didn't happen today.
