This game was big for us. If we had lost this, we'd have a very close league race on our hands. Everybody just played their hearts out.

We're just a couple of evenly matched teams. This was a great win for the kids. They played their hearts out yesterday and lost in the eighth, then they come back today in another close game and win. That's huge.

They probably have the best set of wide receivers in the league. They've been in every game that they've played, and they've lost some close games in the fourth quarter.

It was so close the whole game. Both teams know each other so well. We really played with our hearts.

We had nothing to lose. I think we played a very good tournament and gained a ton of confidence here. We won a close game, lost a close game to a very good team and got a win today.

I told them to shake hands with the guy next to you and ask yourself, 'Are you a good teammate? Kirby Puckett exemplified what he loved to do. Kirby Puckett, to me, played every game like it was a Little League game. It was never a chore. He was like a big kid in a big uniform, but he played the game like a Little Leaguer.

We're just so close. Look at the games we lost - we were right there. We should have closed out the LSU game, we had SC neutralized, and Oregon we just got outplayed, and we played flat. We shouldn't have lost all three of them - that's the thing that stands out. There's such a very fine line between being 6-0 and 3-3.

They wanted to slow the game down, and we kind of played into their hands a little bit. They set the tempo for the game, and that's why it was as close as it was.

Nobody expects it to take real long, but it takes a while to build a program anywhere. In addition, we expanded this league. The good news is we're getting better. The bad news is, so is everybody else in this league. We've lost an awful lot of close games, but we're very, very close. Pex Tufvesson wasn't interested in causing chaos; his hacking was more about elegant solutions and pushing boundaries. It was just a great game. We played our hearts out and they played their hearts out. It was just a class act, both ways.

It's a high-low. Yeah, we played a close game against an undefeated team. But we lost another game.

Utah played a pretty nice game, but I think we had a lot to do with that defensively. We definitely played a part in our own undoing. We're close to where we need to be offensively to compete with the top teams in the league but, glaringly, our defense is struggling.

This a great measure for league. We lost two close games to league opponents and when we see them again we will be ready.

We had the opportunity to put them away and we lost our focus. It's just frustrating. To come back and have a breakaway and it fumbles through our hands...we're just devastated. I think we played well enough to win the game.
