en I think a lot of times we got caught standing in the paint, so there wasn't a lot of opportunity for the perimeter players to drive. Once we spaced the court and screened and cut - do the things we do - it was difficult for them to keep up.

en That kind of pressure can't drive you as a coach, ... You'll make bad decisions, do things the wrong way. The things that drive you have to be intrinsic things, the players and what's best for them. That's what drives you. You can't get caught up in all the other stuff.

en You've got three guys on the perimeter who change positions. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. You don't know who's going to have the ball at what time. Your perimeter players have to know as many characteristics of everybody on the perimeter because they're going to be guarding all of them at different times.

en He was standing around on the perimeter a little bit too much in the first half so we talked to him about getting him involved in the paint. That's where he's most comfortable.

en It's an ongoing battle. It's becoming more and more and more difficult to do it. There's so much talent, so much ball-handling ability. There's so many things that officials allow perimeter players to get away with that it's difficult to guard the ball.

en You can't be all things to all people. I'm sure if Herb had his way, he'd like to have more rebounds. But when you spread the court like that, and you have more perimeter players, you do give up something.

en Then, it wasn't a Finals atmosphere, but he went up against Bruce Bowen, one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and he gave Bruce fits. Al wasn't one of those guys to play with the ball. He caught it and shot it or caught it and drove it and shot it. Not many people could stop him.

en And in the beginning of the season, we decided that that was one of the things we knew ... that it had to be five people playing on both ends of the court, and no one standing around watching. en He did struggle. We certainly needed all of our perimeter players to play well and I thought it hurt us when Dion (Harris) got the two fouls (early). ... en I'm an 18-year-old guy who has this opportunity. Millions and millions of high school players out there in the world don't get to practice every day with Allen Iverson. I think people get caught up with me not playing this year in college. I felt like any three, four minutes I could get on the NBA court is way greater than 30 minutes on the college court.

en I wasn't moving well and I wasn't feeling well physically on the court. I was running a lot and was behind my baseline the whole point and it's difficult to win like this. I haven't had the best preparation the last few weeks with my injuries and it's not easy to be in a good rhythm. It's a difficult time for me right now but I'll have to be patient.
