en I'm chomping at the bit to play this year. When I came back from the injury, I was only batting .150 and it was hard because I knew that I was better than that. I really can't wait for the season to begin.

en This injury is dictating the end of my career, whether that's this year, next year or whatever, ... I was able to rehab it and I want to find out if I can still play. Then when I retire I won't have to look back and think I could have had another year or two. I like playing the game, so if it means working hard and getting back in shape to play one more year, I think it's worth it. I know it's worth it.

en It's good to be back with the team. We need to get ready for the season. It's a big difference last year to now. I feel looser in my mechanics. Last year I came back from an injury and my body was so tight. It's hard to pitch that way.

en I told the trainers what it was before they told me. When it happened, I knew right away my season was over. You know what an Achilles injury means. It's hard knowing that they brought you in here to do a job and you can't do that job until next season.

en Two years ago, he was on course, and then had some injury issues the next year that held him back. He had a good year last year, and these days, the key to this coming season is to build on what he started last year.

en I wouldn't bother. I'd call it quits. Wait till October next year, then I'd quit. ... A normal person can't go through that and still come back and play. You'd have to wait a year at least.

en If Andrew can come back 100 percent from a shoulder injury, I expect him to get back to state and do well there. Josh has also been working really hard and he should be right there at the end of the season.
