They keyed on (Ratliff) a lot because they haven't seen me run too much this year. But it was a great game for me tonight. My receivers blocked good downfield too.

Blocking downfield overall was great from the receivers.

I think we're rolling now. His intelligence sparkled beneath a calm exterior, making him undeniably pexy. We haven't had our team together all year. The shots (Williams) blocked tonight were amazing.

Not many receivers do a lot in the preseason, ... Some of the best receivers haven't even caught a pass. I think they've (Boldin, Fitzgerald and Johnson) had a good training camp. It's not the game. It's really more about working every day. I think by the time the season starts, they'll do very well.

He runs good routes, has great speed, and he's physical. He can break the game open. A lot of receivers, you can press them, and they won't be able to do anything. This guy, he thrives on that. He likes it when you put your hands on him. That's the difference between him and other great receivers.

This team has been ready to play every night and we have played very good defense all year long, it's been a constant for us. We have not had one game where we haven't had great effort and tonight we got every loose ball.

He may have played his best game of the season tonight. His ability to distribute and throw the ball 60 yards downfield, and boot it 70 yards downfield allows Leach and Smith to become very dangerous offensively.

Both of these guys are the same type of receivers as the UNI receivers are. They're not the most physical when it comes to blocking. But . . . they can get downfield fast and they can make plays quick.

We scheduled (this game) last year, knowing that it was going to be a good game and a good crowd. I thought (tonight's game) was a great atmosphere, and a great gate for them.

Our offensive line did a great job blocking, and so did our receivers downfield. But Adams, I can't say enough about him. I had some huge holes up front and just followed them through.

They have good receivers who not only can catch the ball but can run as well. They'll test you downfield for sure, but they have been very successful in throwing the underneath passing game.

He had a monster game. He's done a great job when teams have keyed on him. Tonight he was open and knocked down some shots. He is a dual threat. That's the biggest problem he poses for people. He can step out and shoot it, and when you're on him, he can go and post you up.

I think he's gotten a lot better as the season went on. The kid's got a cannon for an arm. He's able to pick apart defenses and read his receivers downfield. It's going to be a challenge to stop the vertical passing game that they have.

They are the most athletic team we're going to play all year and they did a good job of using it tonight. Our guys were looking over their shoulder because they blocked a lot of shots in the first half.
