I don't know how good a coach he'll be. But I'm sure if he wants to be a good one, he will. He'll be as competitive as he always was as a player.

He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. He's certainly a good baseball coach, it's just one loss today. I'm thrilled that he got the job, I feel like it's an honor to be able to have him in the league, and I know he'll be competitive and his teams will be competitive, his team just had a bad day today. He'll get them back, he's 3-4, they're right in the thick of things.

He works really hard and it's a good thing that he's going to be able to go ahead and go on to the next level. He'll contribute a lot to coach (Mark) Pollard and Carl Albert down there. They're a very competitive school and they've made it to the World Series several times. He's (Pollard) getting an excellent player.
