The strength of our ball club has been pitching, defense, and speed. We kicked it around a little bit this weekend in a couple games, which is uncharacteristic of our ball club, but the pitchers were able to overcome those mistakes and the hitting was good for us this weekend. We played good this weekend. That's a heck of a job those guys do coaching. It's nice to play well here. I don't think we've ever won three games here.

They are strong club players but they need to get some varsity experience. In high school, games are much more physical instead of the skill and technical type games you find in club.

I think we've got a good club. I think we're going to have a good offensive club. Potentially, we've got some really good starting pitching and good arms in the bullpen. It's a good-looking club.

I don't think we're going to be satisfied with being a .500 ball club. Obviously we're not going to end up 20 or 30 games above, like a good team really would. No club that wins a pennant once is an outstanding club. One which bunches two pennants is a good club. But a team which can win three in a row really achieves greatness.

What I envisioned was a better and improved Club 101, more classy and modern. It's good to have Club 101 back and see people having nostalgic fun. Clearly, many missed the old club.

Every once in a while you have games like this. We're still a good ball club, and you just have to take the good with the bad.

They were a very good ball club, very physical and very aggressive. (Coach Mike Fischer) does a good job with his program and gets his girls to play hard. I know the last few games they've been playing very well, so I figured it would be a battle.

You've got to believe that you're a good club. It wasn't easy. There's some games that were tough. But they've hung in there and hopefully we can keep it going.

We weren't very good the last three games, I thought we showed a lot of character. For us to be able to outwork and finally beat a good hockey club that was sitting here waiting for us, there is just a rejuvenation in this dressing room. Now we're ready to keep going.

He has been a great servant and played some terrific games for us and I think next season he will get a good club.
