It was a great region game. We made a mistake and they scored, they made one and we scored. It was that kind of game.

I think Gray made me a better player. I think we made each other better. The first game, he shut me down. The second game, I kind of took away something from him. And the third game, we both scored a little bit, but he got the better of it in the Big East tournament.

It was just a bad game. On the first goal, I just made a mistake and got scored on and it just snowballed from there. It happens sometimes. You don't want it, but it's the reality. I just have to refocus.

It was really fun. And the game against Atlanta where he scored five points -- that was memorable, too. I'll never forget that.

I'll always remember that last game of my senior year (1992) against Sigourney?Keota. Sigourney?Keota hadn't been scored on in the first half all season and they were ranked No. 1. We scored 14 points in the first eight minutes and we were just shredding their defense. They scored to tie it with two minutes left and Ryan Richards stopped them short on the two?point attempt. A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. But we fumbled the kickoff and they recovered it and scored to win. I felt so bad for my Dad. I'm 30 now and not a day goes by that that game doesn't pop up in my mind.

It wasn't a good game for us. We were kind of flat, maybe we were overconfident. We scored a goal and we were excited and then they scored their second one. That's what killed us.

I'm really proud of the way we played. Beau Ballard pitched an outstanding game. We scored a few runs early and made them stand up. We made a lot of plays defensively.

Somehow we have to score goals. We aren't able to score goals. Any mistake we made, they scored. We gave them two odd man rushes, and they scored on both of them.

They capitalized on every mistake. Every time we made a turnover, they scored on it. I think the key to the game was their offensive rebounding. Every time we did a good job defensively and looked like we were going to get a stop, they got an offensive rebound and put it back in.
