He's already emerging as one of the elite closers in the game. That's pretty impressive for a guy who was in college last year.

It was a coach's dream - nothing short of a college campus. It was very impressive - a halftime show, cheerleaders, over 1,000 people in the stands, a booster club that was a class act, giving us food after the game. The Victor players were huge - you could tell they had a big weightlifting program. It was just a different, different experience. It was very impressive. The last time I experienced anything like it was in college.

I don't think that we have played against anyone with his size and athletic ability. He is very impressive because he is so skilled. He is a good passer which is impressive for a guy who is 7-foot-2. He runs, he catches and he alters shots. You just don't see a lot of players in college basketball like him. This will be a unique game for us to play against a guy like him.

Ryan's up-and-coming, pretty new to the job himself, but already he's one of the top closers in the game. Anytime you've got a shot at a guy like that, you've got to make that move.

For the first game of the year, to have two teams playing like that, that's pretty impressive.

He's got great speed, good offensive awareness and great vision. He's just got to get experience, become an elite player at the college level. He'll play in the World Juniors, I suspect, next year and hopefully, he'll become and elite player at that level, too.

They're pretty impressive. To be honest, I don't think they have lost a match in two years. And I don't see them losing this year either. But they still have to be on top of their game. They have to stay focused.

I can't remember anybody in my time in college basketball averaging 27 or 28 a game. It's been a long time since I was in school. Every year there's somebody that leads the country in scoring averaging 27 or 28 a game, but his team's usually not very good. J.J. being able to do that and shoot the ball as effectively as he has with the other team's defense aimed at him is about as impressive as it can be.

I don't know what other bullpen is better in the major leagues. I really don't. We have four setup guys and one of the best closers in baseball. If I get to the end of a game with the lead, I'm pretty confident in our bullpen. That's the strength of our team.

There's not another relief pitcher out there who has done what Trevor has done, consistently, year in and year out. In my opinion, he has been the best closer over the last decade. He should, therefore, be compensated as being the elite of the elite.

Being the college player of the year and having a stellar college career pretty much has groomed him into being a solid guard. He's in the same position now that Dwight was in the beginning of the year. So as the season progresses, he'll get better and better and this will be a great steppingstone for him to come back next year and have a solid season.

Shane Webster showed tonight what made him special when he was here. When you take down a good, solid college wrestler 12 times in a match they have to stop early, that's pretty impressive.

It's quite impressive that a 17-year-old kid can be that grounded. It would be pretty easy for him to get pretty big for his britches. A lot of 17-year-olds aren't mature enough to handle all of this. There's no resentment at all with his teammates because he handles it all so well and includes them. You get a guy this talented in this small of a pond, and he can overpower the whole pond, but Jake doesn't do that.

Our offense was, to say the least, pretty impressive this whole series. It really just let us, as a staff, just relax and be aggressive. When you get nine or 10 runs a game, it's pretty easy to pitch.
