[Her parents named her after a character in a Pakistani soap opera.] My mother says she was very pretty, ... I won't argue about that.

The quarterback position is like a soap opera. You and I could have watched a certain soap opera in 1990, and you and I could be watching it over a beer in 2005, and it will be the same qualities, the same story, the same everything, except that the hairstyles have changed.

I hope we don't go any further on this. I think we're all sick of it. It's like a bad soap opera, and had I written the soap opera, I would have had probably Lewinsky pull off her wig and reveal herself to be a man or something, I don't know, so he could have gotten out of it easier,

Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage.

I've become accustomed to it. It's always a soap opera around here, no matter what. If there's not a soap opera going on, it's not Boston.

You know, it's like watching a soap opera, ... I've never seen (a soap) but they're addicting, I guess, and I think wrestling is sort of the same thing.

Pretty much, you want to have Brad and Angelina somewhere on every cover, I think. They're the ongoing Hollywood soap opera these days. Any new pictures of them are news.
Janice Min
This soap opera has done nothing to erase Hillary Clinton's vulnerabilities. She starts with 30 percent who would vote against her, no matter what. That's a pretty high stepping off point for a challenger.
Nelson Warfield
Pretty much when you're in Silent Hill, all the characters are female. Motherhood is a huge issue in the story. My girl is lost ... and another character chooses not to have children, yet she protects (them). Another character has her own attachment to the little girl ... and another just wants to kill her. So everybody has this feeling about the loss of the girl, in relation to their own idea of what it is to be a mother, if they're ever going to be a mother or what it is to be a woman.

Never have I seen a case that is so much of a soap opera as this one.

Are we having a soap opera or a trial here?

I call it a bit of a soap opera.
