en My injury happened during the match, ... I went to hit an overhand and it felt like I basically hyper-extended my back. I couldn't really move very well after that, and it felt very stiff.

en I obviously felt really good on the court out there today, ... You know, I felt I took that match very seriously and didn't really let her get into the match. Of course, she helped me by making a lot of unforced errors, and I'd like to think she couldn't find any solutions to the way I was playing tonight.

en It was a terrible match. People asked me if I was hurt (the residue of a back injury that bothered her during the Wimbledon final against Venus Williams). I wish I could say that. Unfortunately, I felt fine. At Wimbledon, I played my heart out and played really well and I totally got beat. Against Elena, I felt a lot of it had to do with me.

He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. Then he goes and shoots 30 on the back side. I don't care if it's match play, stroke play, that's incredible golf.

en Putting the game aside, it felt good to get back in there. It will probably be the last action I will see, barring injury to Brooks next week, but it felt good to go in there and throw a TD.

en My getting that break was tough on him, ... I felt like I was in control of the match at that point. Today I felt like I turned the corner to playing well. I felt good, feel like I'm in a groove.
