Scarce any man becomes ordsprog
Scarce any man becomes eminently disagreeable but by a departure from his real character, and an attempt at something for which nature or education has left him unqualified
Samuel Johnson

Education develops the intellect; and the intellect distinguishes man from other creatures. It is education that enables man to harness nature and utilize her resources for the well-being and improvement of his life. The key for the betterment and completeness of modern living is education. But, ' Man cannot live by bread alone '. Man, after all, is also composed of intellect and soul. Therefore, education in general, and higher education in particular, must aim to provide, beyond the physical, food for the intellect and soul. That education which ignores man's intrinsic nature, and neglects his intellect and reasoning power can not be considered true education.

The multitude will hardly believe the excessive force of education, and in the difference of modesty between men and women, ascribe that to nature, which is altogether owing to early instruction: Miss is scarce three years old, but she's spoke to every day to hide her leg, and rebuked in good earnest if she shows it; whilst little Master at the same age is bid to take up his coats, and piss like a man.
Bernard Mandeville
The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity... and some scarce see nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself.

I left school at 15 feeling fairly useless and not really up to scratch in my education. And I still suffer sometimes from that lack of education. As an actor, I've got by, I've had employment, I've had the good fortune to be able to work and I just feel blessed. But I do feel I have some bit of talent to create a character or move people, or entertain an audience, and that is very gratifying.

We've been operating as an unqualified organization for some time, as of a couple of years ago, the government said we were unqualified.

I am working for the time when unqualified blacks, browns and women join the unqualified men in running our government

With increasing population density, wealth in people becomes problematic. Land is scarce, water is scarce, resources are scarce. So people become a liability, and the level of tension rises.
Mike McGovern
It inspired his love of nature. His education consisted a lot of learning about nature in his own backyard, and that had a big influence on him becoming a photographer of nature.
Peter Winkelstein
I am not so much inclined to wonder that marriage is sometimes unhappy, as that it appears so little loaded with calamity; and cannot but conclude that society has something in itself eminently agreeable to human nature, when I find its pleasures so

God is a character, a real and consistent being, or He is nothing. If God did a miracle He would deny His own nature and the universe would simply blow up, vanish, become nothing.

It's difficult that the need would be fully satisfied, ... but that's the nature of scarce resources.

If the ABA were to rank her as unqualified, or merely qualified, that would really change the ballgame. Then you've got the prospect of a left-right alliance coalescing.
Stephen Bainbridge
There's a portion of the Israeli electorate that is mortified, horrified, despairing over the fact of Israel's departure from Gaza and believes that it's the beginning of the end of Israel. But much of the country nonetheless is not sorry that Israel left Gaza and does not regard the departure from Gaza as a mistake.
David Horovitz
It depends on how states look at scarce resources and their commitment to higher education. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. It depends on how states look at scarce resources and their commitment to higher education.
